Social Skills Group For Teens (age 14 – 18)
Join us for a small group (maximum of 8) in which your child can work on their social skills with others their own age. This will be an experiential group, where we will learn through interaction with others and group discussion.
Focus of group:
For many teens, social skills can be challenging as social anxiety or a lack of social pragmatics can widen the gap between them and their peers. Our group is designed to practice and skill build in a social group context so that participants learn through experiences of trial and error.
Teens will learn:
‣ Eye contact
‣ Turn taking
‣ Managing and expressing emotion
‣ Communication skills
‣ Listening skills
