Paige Pensivy, M.S. APCC
I am a Professional Clinical Counselor Associate (APCC#7524) registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Supervised by Stephen Mardell, MFT Lic# LMFT 33517.
As a therapist, my priority is for every client to feel understood and supported. I thoughtfully create a safe and creative space for my clients to be who they are and discover new ways to manage the ups and downs of life. I have a passion for helping people, whether it is going through difficult time, transitioning into new environments, moving into a new stage of life, dealing with anxiety or simply needing someone to help provide support. I provide encouragement and guidance during these times while assisting my clients in attaining their goals and gaining new coping strategies.
I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Grand Canyon University. I have experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings, including school settings, hospitals, and residential treatment centers. I have worked with people of all ages focusing on children and teens and their families, with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and transitional life periods.
My approach is collaborative and creative. I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, and family systems therapy with Art and Play therapy techniques. My sessions are tailored to the client and their needs.
I believe it is possible for every person to achieve happiness and fulfillment in their lives. Therapy can be a great first step in assisting in achieving your next chapter. It would be my pleasure to help you on your journey towards a positive mindset and personal growth. Please feel free to contact me, as I am looking forward to talking with you and discussing how I can be of service.
