Kianna Mirtorabi, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT#133373) registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

As a therapist, my priority is for every client to feel heard and understood. I diligently and thoughtfully create a safe space for my clients to be who they are and discover new ways to manage the ups and downs of life. I have a passion for helping people, whether it is navigating difficult times, managing stress, dealing with relationship conflict, going through life transitions, or seeking self-understanding. I provide support and encouragement during these times while assisting my clients in attaining their goals and gaining new skills.

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have experience working in a variety of therapeutic settings, including community mental health and residential treatment centers. I have worked with people of all ages with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, relationship conflict, etc.

My approach is collaborative and eclectic. I integrate a variety of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, etc. I tailor treatment to each individual based on their unique needs, as no two people are the same.

I believe it is possible for every person to achieve wellness and fulfillment in their lives. Therapy can be a great first step and it would be my pleasure to assist you on your journey towards newfound insight and personal growth. Please feel free to contact me, as I am happy to talk with you and discuss how I can be of service.
